Dr. Kaitlin McCurdy Moran is board certified in Internal Medicine. After completing her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida COM Jacksonville, she had the privilege of completing a Chief Residency in 2015. She later completed a Global Health fellowship at the University of Florida Gainesville and in Port au Prince, Haiti with a focus on women's health specifically breast and cervical cancer screening and treatment. She came to Mayo Clinic Florida in 2020 where she is currently a Consultant and Breast Medicine physician at the Jacoby Center for Breast Health. She is active in patient care, education, and research and is passionate about providing the highest caliber, individualized patient care.

Dr. Moran's research and clinical interests are breast cancer prevention, management of women at increased risk for breast cancer including those with family history of breast cancer, genetic mutations, and dense breasts, as well as health disparities. She previously authored a chapter in the medical textbook "Cancer Screening in the Developing World" detailing her global health initiative to provide cancer screening throughout the departments of Haiti. She continues to research health disparities and women's health with a specific interest in Breast Health.

She served as Society of Hospital Medicine North Florida Chapter's President beginning in 2022 and currently as Immediate Past President and is very proud of all her chapter has accomplished including national recognition for Professional Wellbeing and Shining Star Chapter in 2023 and 2024 respectively. She has been a member of the Mayo Clinic Florida Ethics Committee since 2021. Dr. Moran serves as co-chair of the Breast Center Education Committee and enjoys teaching whenever possible.
