Brigham M. Barzee, M.D.

Brigham Matthew Barzee, M.D., is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and Senior Associate Consultant in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. He also serves as an Instructor in Emergency Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.

Dr. Barzee earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. His academic background includes a bachelor's degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology with a minor in Korean from Brigham Young University.

Dr. Barzee’s clinical focus lies in providing high-quality acute care in both academic and community emergency department settings. His scholarly work has addressed diverse topics including ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and procedural efficiency. He has presented original research at national anatomy and emergency medicine conferences. He is also engaged in teaching at multiple levels, including procedure labs and resuscitation education for residents and medical students.
