是的。输卵管是卵子穿过卵巢到达子宫的一对管道。每月的月经周期期间，其中一个卵巢会释放一个卵子。该过程称为排卵。然后卵子沿着其中一个输卵管向下移动。卵子可能会也可能不会被输卵管中的精子受精。如果卵子受精，需要附着在子宫壁上才能开始妊娠。

如果您曾因感染、肿瘤或既往异位妊娠接受过盆腔手术，则可能只有一根输卵管。异位妊娠中的受精卵附着在子宫外而无法存活。此外，只有一个输卵管可能是先天性的。但倘若符合以下条件，您仍然可以只通过一根输卵管怀孕：
