Biographical summary
Dr. Stephanie J. Steel is a general community neurologist and headache subspecialist at Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN. She provides compassionate patient-centered care by developing a trust-based relationship with each patient, built on shared decision-making with each patient and their care team.
Her main clinical practice is within the Integrated Community Specialist (ICS) clinic located in the Baldwin building, primarily limited to patients who have a Mayo Clinic primary care provider. Dr. Steel is passionate about providing high-quality general adult neurological care to patients with a wide range of neurological disorders and making a positive impact in the community. The most common conditions she treats include migraine, dementia, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke and peripheral nerve disorders.
Dr. Steel also practices as a headache subspecialist in the Headache Clinic including headache procedures. Her special interests include education of trainees and primary care providers with a focus on headache management to improve patient access and care.
